Financial Matters – Financial Remedies Court/Hearing Centres

The Appointment of Specialist Judges dealing specifically with financial remedy work. Family Remedy Centres are to be piloted in three areas commencing Feb/March 2018. The idea behind this being that only Judges specialising in financial remedy cases will hear them to ensure continuity, consistency and maximum efficiency in terms of the application itself and case management through to settlement. This will ensure that anyone making an application has his or her case put before an experienced District Judge or Circuit Judge who only carry out work in this area.
